About JB Land Foundation
JB Land Foundation was founded by James Walsh and Bert Sutcliffe. Friends dating back to high school that share a common interest in preserving and experiencing nature. Both originally from Maryland, they witnessed the "woods" continually taken down for new developments.
This "pain" stayed with them until they reconnected in SW Florida, and decided to embark on this mission: to create destinations that allow guests to experience and appreciate nature. And with each site, we don't dictate what is to be built... we let the land, and the community, tell us.
James Walsh
With over 25 years of housing experience, including plumbing, infrastructure and more, James Walsh provides the foundational knowledge to ensure every project is completed at the highest quality.
Bert Sutcliffe
Having spent almost three decades in hospitality and marketing, Bert Sutcliffe brings that expertise to JB Land to create unique destinations, as well as the best business and marketing practices to ensure success.
